ISOMS UPDATE
Hello ISMS Members:
I am trying to get an idea of how many of you might be planning on staying in the city for the Saturday, October 4 ISOMS Annual Meeting and educational program featuring, guest speaker Dr. Steven Lewis of Cincinnati, We have planned an all day education program for that Saturday, and the rooms at the Westin Michigan Avenue Hotel in Chicago are just about gone. You can still call, but do it now if you hope to book a room there. The city is quite busy in October and hotel rooms are scarce.
I have a tentative agreement that I want to solidify by early next week, for rooms at The Whitehall Hotel, an independent boutique hotel at 105 E. Delaware Place, just a short walk from the Westin, which is at Michigan Ave. and Delaware Streets, and the location of the day's program. We can get some rooms for Friday and/or Saturday evenings if we book soon.
The rate would be $289 for rooms at The Whitehall, plus tax. And, if you drive, overnight valet parking is $41/night.
If you can give me even a tentative reply, I would have some indication of interest before committing to the rooms.
