The Spring 2008 ISOMS education program will be the biannual ACLS Training Program for members and staff. Save room on your schedule now for the weekend of March 1 and 2, 2008. Programming will be all day Saturday and most of Sunday, ending in the early afternoon. There is a new ACLS manual, printed in August 2006. The ACLS Manual can be ordered from WorldPoint at 888-322-8350. The manual number is 80-1088. The small ECC handbook was printed in late fall for 2005-06. The training will be offered by Acute Care Education Systems (ACES), based in Hoffman Estates, the same organization that conducted the program in 2004 and 2006.

Meeting Highlights
Nearly 100 oral and maxillofacial surgery colleagues and restorative dentists attended the ISOMS Annual Meeting and Educational Program last October at the Westin Michigan Avenue Hotel in Chicago. New officers were elected, past officers were honored and Dr. Michael S. Block, Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Louisiana State University, New Orleans, Louisiana, gave an impressive lecture on implants.
